Thank you to all who attended our exhibit opening and inspiring artist talk with Aleah, Khan and Jacob of Live Yes Studios along with LYS Executive Directors Micah and Natasha. We welcomed visitors from Eustis, Imperial, Kearney, Lincoln, McCook, Milford, Omaha & Scottsbluff to celebrate the outstanding work of the artists and organization. This exhibit will be at ArtBank through October. A must-see and uplifting experience of art as self-determination and beautiful means for creating open, inclusive & engaged community.

ArtBank is open 10 am to 5 pm today. It’s a last opportunity to see Wesaam Al Badry’s Nebraska series before it returns to its home at Museum of Nebraska Art next week. After today, we will close for an early August vacation and reopen on Saturday, August 15. Thank you for your support!

Celebrating 5 years of Southwest Nebraska Art Camp! Thursday morning is our 18th and last session in this summer’s program. We’ve created a new exhibit of work from this and previous seasons. Please come meet the young artists and enjoy cookies and lemonade Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at ArtBank.

ArtBank is open 1 to 8 pm today in addition to Third Thursday festivities on the bricks. It’s a great opportunity to come see Wesaam Al-Badry’s Labor of Belonging series, nineteen beautiful portraits of Nebraskans. Thank you to Museum of Nebraska Art for loaning us this dynamic exhibit.

It’s a last chance to see Fields of Memory, works created by seniors at Kinship Pointe in workshops led by artist Kim Darling with a Creative Aging Arts Program grant from Nebraska Arts Council. Also, come see works created by area youth in ArtBank’s Southwest Nebraska Arts Camp, supported by McCook Arts Council.
