This Saturday, step through the doors and discover some of those stories during a FREE guided tour of the Wolcott Heritage Center.

History feels a little different after midnight approaches.

The doors close. The visitors leave. The buildings become quiet.

And then… the investigation begins.

Join the Maumee Valley Historical Society for a Private Paranormal Tour at the Wolcott Heritage Center. Your private group will spend three hours investigating the first floor and basement of the Wolcott House, the Monclova Church, and the Train Depot.

These buildings have witnessed generations of Maumee history. Come see for yourself whether anything—or anyone—has been left behind.

❤️ 50 YEARS OF VOLUNTEERING. 50 YEARS OF SHARING MAUMEE’S HISTORY. ❤️

We are incredibly proud to share this special Hometown Spotlight featuring Darlene Limmer, who has been volunteering at the Wolcott House since 1976!

For five decades, Darlene has helped bring the stories of Maumee’s past to life, sharing her knowledge, passion, and love of local history with generations of visitors.

Think about that—50 years of giving her time to preserve and share our community’s history. That is an extraordinary legacy of service.

The Maumee Valley Historical Society is so fortunate to have Darlene as part of our story, and we are thrilled to see her dedication recognized in this Hometown Spotlight.

Our Private Paranormal Tours give your group THREE HOURS to explore and investigate:

🏠 The first floor and basement of the Wolcott House
⛪ The Monclova Church
🚂 The historic Train Depot

You’ll have the buildings to yourselves as you investigate after dark from 9:00 PM to Midnight.

Tours are available Saturday nights through October 17, 2026.
