Every Thursday from June 4 to August 6, kids 18 and younger can receive a FREE 7-day meal bag!

Every Thursday from June 4 to August 6, kids 18 and younger can receive a FREE 7-day meal bag!

📍 Pick-up Locations:
• Grant Middle School
• George Washington Elementary
• Taft Elementary
• Hayes Elementary
• Garfield Elementary

🕛 Pick-up Time: 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.

Limit one bag per child
You do NOT need to be an MCS student to participate
Open to ALL kids 18 and younger
Help us spread the word so families in our community can take advantage of this great program! ❤️

The Explore-It-Torium Children’s Museum crew is gearing up for the America 250 Red, White & You Weekend set for July 16-19 in Marion County!

We’re joining our Marion County neighbors to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by hosting the O-H-I-Oh! What a Celebration Birthday Block Party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 18 at The Explore-It-Torium Children’s Museum!

This event is free and open to all our friends and neighbors! We’ll have local musicians, a balloon artist from our friends at Cooper & Co Balloons, America 250 swag bags, and more! And kids and families can play at The Explore-It-Torium for free all day!

Our friends at Coffee & Crumb Café will have box lunches available at a cost of $6.00. They’ll include a hot dog, chips, bottled water, and dessert.

🎉🖐️ It's High Five Friday in Downtown Marion! 🖐️🎉

The Explore-It-Torium Children's Museum of Marion is open until 8 p.m. today, so if your kids need a break from shopping, stop by and let them play and learn with us for a while!

Admission is $6.00 per person.

While you're at The Explore-It-Torium, be sure to to shop at Re-MARCA-ble, located in the museum lobby. Re-MARCA-ble features merchandise made by local vendors! Lots of wonderful items are available!

REMINDER: MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND HOLIDAY CLOSING SCHEDULE

The Explore-It-Torium will be closed for the Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25).

The museum will be open to people attending the birthday party scheduled for Sunday, May 24, but will be closed to the general public.

The Explore-It-Torium will re-open for regular operating hours on Tuesday, May 26.

The Friends of the Marion County Dog Shelter invite the community to enjoy Movies at the Park this summer! Donations of dog food, treats, or monetary contributions are accepted to help support the community dog food pantry.
