Béla Ferenc Dezső Blaskó was born this day in 1882. Better known as Bela Lugosi, who in 1931 defined Bram Stoker’s Dracula character from the novel of the same name. His elegant portrayal of the infamous Count has been duplicated by many other actors. Lugosi never wore fangs when portraying Dracula, he is buried in his Dracula costume.
