Come to the MAG Gallery to see the original artwork of one of our many local artists, Mark Nelson. Mark’s style as a self-taught artist combines classical, abstract, folk, and high art sensibilities. His work as a contemporary artist focuses on figurative and representational paintings and sculptures. His sculptures are influenced by Ancient Greek and Roman fragments and frescos. His work can be found in private and corporate collections through the southeast.

Come see the artwork of local artist Debra Flagle at our Gallery! Debra is a self-taught artist living on a farm in Madison where she is a mom to 7 alpacas and 1 llama. She began creating by accident, “when you have all that fiber, you have to get creative.” Debra makes scarves, hats, ponchos, and anything that seems unusual. She uses the wool from her alpacas, combining it with different types of silk in the process of Nuno Felting. All her work is handcrafted and dyed.
