What a night!

A Night for the Museum 2026 was filled with exciting silent auction items, great food, unforgettable entertainment, and most importantly, incredible people who came together to support the FiberMax Center for Discovery!

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, donated, sponsored, bid in the silent auction, volunteered, and helped make this year's event possible.

Your support goes far beyond one night. It helps us continue educating children, families, and visitors about agriculture while preserving its history and sharing its story for generations to come. We couldn't do what we do without you!

The FiberMax Center for Discovery will be closed today in preparation for our annual gala, A Night for the Museum!

We hope to see you all tonight at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center for a wonderful evening supporting the Center!

🎉 Today is Laura’s birthday!! 🎉

Laura is our Assistant Director/Education & Outreach Manager, and she has been the brains behind connecting our interactive exhibits to classroom learning!

When our new wing opens very soon, you’ll definitely see this teacher at heart in action, making a lasting impact on kids’ agricultural education.

We are so lucky to have Laura on our team and grateful for everything she brings to the FiberMax Center for Discovery!

🐄🥛 Happy Farmer Friday

Ever wondered what a day in the life of a dairy farmer looks like? Their work begins long before sunrise and continues well after sunset!

A typical day may include:
🌅 Early morning milking
🍼 Feeding and caring for calves
🌾 Preparing nutritious feed for the herd
🩺 Monitoring cow health and comfort
🚜 Maintaining equipment and farm facilities
🌙 Evening milking and final herd checks

Dairy farmers are dedicated to providing excellent care for their animals while producing the milk and dairy products enjoyed by families every day. Help us thank dairy farmers for their hard work, commitment, and passion for agriculture!
