________________

In a time of noise, uncertainty, and collective exhaustion, award-winning abstract artist Sieglinde Van Damme is offering something rare: a visual sanctuary to just breathe.

Whitney Modern presents her solo exhibition, 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚 - 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚, running September 3-28. Please join us for an artist reception on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 2-4pm.

Spanning all four of her current series, the show offers more than beauty. It invites relief, reflection, and possibility. In addition to 30+ paintings, visitors will encounter a full-length philosophy wall, a mirror installation inscribed with “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦? 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦?”, and sealed letters to future collectors.

Known for her emotionally intelligent and internationally exhibited work, Van Damme creates art as energy and inspiration; a reminder that in chaotic times, beauty and reflection are lifelines.
