Since 1968, the Art Centers have mentored and represented artists with intellectual disabilities. The program originally began as a single site in the South L.A. area, and since 2008 has expanded to encompass three other locations.

✨Opening today!✨

We’re pleased to be part of ArtLabbé’s 5th annual arts and poetry exhibition, Liberté. Featuring works by Hunter Denim, Armando Farillas, Alyssa Nagahiro, Jorge Ramirez, Brendan Tury, and Juan Romo. The exhibition will be on view at the ArtLabbé gallery in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone.

Join us for the opening reception this Thursday from 5–7pm. The exhibition remains on view through June 10.

Join us this Saturday at the Patchwork Show — Makers Market & Community Festival in Long Beach! 🌞🌊

Visit ECF Art Centers at Booth 54 for an interactive printmaking experience where visitors can create their own quick mini prints using our mini print press. We’ll also be vending artwork- clothing, small ceramics, and flatworks created by ECF Art Centers artists.

Yesterday, ECF San Pedro artists and instructors checked out the exhibition at . Congratulations to all of the artists who were part of the exhibit, lots of smiling faces and well deserved. The artists also had a chance to tour the art studios on campus.

⭐️ Happy May the 4th ⭐️

ECF San Pedro artist Deveron Richards has been developing a series of Star Wars-inspired pieces in our studio over the past year. Check out this first clip where he shares the concept behind “Battle Against the Death Star” and how he builds his compositions. He also talks about his process of layering acrylic paint, working in a way that’s similar to watercolor.

Jalessa Diaz✨⚡️✨

Jalessa Diaz has been working out of the ECF Art Centers’ South L.A. studio since 2017. She is a huge fan of the LA dodgers and anime culture. She loves to create her own anime characters while including herself in her work.  Jalessa’s work is a true reflection of her personal style, fun, colorful, and glittery

ECF San Pedro Art Center is excited to be part of Arts Open San Pedro Come through to see what our artists have been working on and show your support.

Arts Open San Pedro is a citywide, two-day open studios event featuring galleries, artist studios, live music, and performing arts, highlighting the vibrant San Pedro Arts & Cultural District. Local trolleys will be available to transport guests to different locations throughout the city.
