Today we celebrate Flag Day and the symbol that has flown over generations of American stories.

At Old Mill Pond Museum, every antique, every tool, every photograph, and every piece of history reminds us of the hard work, faith, perseverance, and pride of those who came before us.

As our flag hangs among the treasures of yesterday, we’re reminded why we continue saving the past for the future.

Happy Flag Day from all of us at Old Mill Pond Museum! ❤️🤍💙

If you could travel back in time and spend ONE day in East Texas 100 years ago, would you do it?

Life looked a lot different in the 1920s. No smartphones. No internet. No streaming movies. Just hard work, community gatherings, and simpler ways of life.

At Old Mill Pond Museum, you can step back in time and discover the tools, traditions, and treasures that helped shape our corner of East Texas.

Tell us in the comments:
🚗 Would you give up your car for a horse and buggy?
📱 Could you survive a week without your cell phone?
📻 Would you rather listen to a radio program than watch TV?

We'd love to hear your answers!
