It’s shaping up to be a fun and very busy few weeks for us.

This weekend we’re at Fort Fest in Ft Jennings. This is a great timeline event with tons to see and do!

Then over Labor Day we are in NE Indiana with the Fort Wayne Railroad for rolling victory. Fun filled time traveling with authentic period rolling stock and a Lima built steam locomotive.

Mid September we are working with the Auglaize Village for our first ever private tactical Forgotten Fields of 44

Then finally Halloween weekend it’s our main flagship event out at the historic lauer farm park in Lima.

Hey local farmers and gardeners we are thinking of decorating the farm up a little bit for Halloween. This is where we need a little bit of help. We are looking for a half dozen to a dozen corn shocks nothing too large. We’d also be willing to return said corn as well.

Registration is open for Forgotten Fields of ‘44. This is Lauer Farms 1944’s first ever tactical event in partnership with village auglaize. This is great event for first time reenactors who’ve never experienced a tactical or the seasoned living history enthusiast. Cost is $25 and this event is not open to the public.

🚂🎖️ World War II Weekend is back this Labor Day Weekend with a NEW Saturday sunset excursion and a Sunday morning brunch train! Join the Dawn Patrol, enjoy live vintage music, WWII reenactments, a train ride to the battlefield, and more at our newly restored station in Pleasant Lake, Indiana. Ticket sales begin July 22nd.

Two great vintage experiences celebrating classic automobiles, historic trains, living history, and the music of another era are headed to Northeast Indiana. Tickets are on sale now at www.indianarailexperience.org.

✨🏁 HOOSIER TOUR with the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival
On September 1st, celebrate two icons of vintage engineering as Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg automobiles gather alongside historic Nickel Plate Road steam locomotive No. 765 and take a steam-powered excursion into Michigan.

The experience includes professional automobile photography with No. 765 and a 2.5-hour train ride.

🚂🪖WORLD WAR II WEEKEND – September 5th & 6th
Step into the 1940s as Pleasant Lake becomes a bustling wartime railroad town filled with steam trains, military encampments, reenactments, historic vehicles, educational exhibits, and live big band music.

Choose your journey:
• Victory Flyer steam shuttle to the event
• Battlefield Train and live reenactment
• Saturday evening Twilight Limited steam excursion
• Sunday morning Dawn Patrol breakfast steam excursion
• Live music from Knights on the Town

Period clothing is encouraged, but not required! Come celebrate the classics and experience the sights, sounds, and stories of the past.

Returning is the crowd favorite the fashion show on both Saturday and Sunday at Lauer Farms 1944 on the patio of the big house. Come see fashion from around the world both military and civilian attire from the 1940’s.
