A little sneak peek into my studio and art class yesterday at Painting Paradise in Puhi, Kauai.

I hope you enjoy this little demo of me painting an ocean scene in mixed media. I’m working with Winsor & Newton watercolors on Arches 140 lb cold‑pressed paper, with touches of Liquitex titanium white. One of my favorite parts is creating texture with a natural sponge. The way the acrylics dance with the watercolors always feels magical.
