Our yellow hibiscus plant is happier after Eric transplanted the leggy plant from pot to ground. 6 of the leaf clusters have lots of bulbs coming. Hibiscus flowers only last a day. I am hoping to photograph several growing next to each other at the same time for a future painting. I'll keep you updated😊.

Interest in the honu green sea turtles has made a comeback in small and large prints The Iiwi and Ohia Lehua large print has found a home as well.

This koi large print went home with a visitor at the Vet fair yesterday. The reference photo for the watercolor was taken years ago at Tidepools Restaurant at the Hyatt in Poipu where they had dinner the night before😊!
I won't be at the Beach House Restaurant fair today but that is a fun one to visit from 9 to 1.

Had a shock at UPS when shipping a 22x30 watercolor flat/no frame. Packaged the same in 2026 as in 2025 cost $50 more in 2026 to Texas from Kauai That's $110 vs $60! Would have been $30 more than in 2025 if shpping to California.And forget 2 day ground. Mailed today, Tues. Estimated delivery, Jan 20, next Tues!
