HAPPY NEW YEAR’S eve! The museum will be open today from 10 - 2. Tomorrow (New Year’s Day) 10-2. Thursday, normal winter hours…10-4.

For the winter — the museum is closed on Mondays. But that doesn’t mean we are not working!!

As a matter of fact, we are using this time to do some really big jobs .

The buffalo bill museum will be open today until 2 o’clock. We are closed on Christmas Day. Next week we will be open on New Year’s Eve (10-2:00 pm New Year’s Day (also 10-2 o’clock.)

This alcove at the bottom of the ramp will be the new space for our buffalo exhibit.

our first official workday… we have to demo several areas in order to make room for the two new exhibits.

While we’re in the middle of a mess, we also decided to do a refresh of our children’s playroom .

 the holidays are a great time to bring children to the BUFFALO BILL MUSEUM. If you are a grandparent with visiting grandchildren, bring them to us.!

We have a special Christmas scavenger hunt — using stickers!

And we also have new coloring pages — and if the kids return those pages they get a special gift!

Our winter hours— The museum is closed on Mondays. We will be using these quiet Mondays too lay the groundwork for our two new exhibits.

Yesterday we did a walk-through to figure out where to start and establish a timeline…

We have a brand new volunteer — Brian — who is an experienced carpenter! So that is very exciting and he is coming to us at just the right moment in time…

Because we have to move some things around we also need to find an electrician. If you know somebody who would be willing to help us, please have them contact the museum! (289-5580)
