What a beautiful evening celebrating the artistry and vision of Jeanette Floyd at her opening reception!

Jeanette shared her story, inspiration, creative process, and the meaning behind her work during a powerful artist talk. It was a wonderful opportunity for guests to hear directly from the artist and gain a deeper appreciation for the stories and emotions woven throughout her artwork.

It started with a blanket for a sick husband and a broken sewing machine. Now, Jeanette Floyd’s handcrafted quilts are hanging on the walls of the Black Heritage Gallery and drawing attention from across the country.

What a Beautiful Opening Reception!

Last night was truly a special evening at the Black Heritage Gallery as we celebrated the opening of Jeanette Floyd’s incredible exhibition. ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out, showed love, and supported the Black Heritage Gallery and this amazing artist. Your presence, encouragement, and continued support mean more than you know.
