Wow! My daughter invited me to take the day off and go with her to The Biblical History Center. It was well worth the visit!!!
From the moment we arrived, Sherry (a retired Coast Guard veteran) rolled out the red carpet. She is an amazing host and manager.
It is VERY child friendly with LOTS of interactive learning only 90 minutes away from Kennesaw, Ga.
The kids even got to take dough, hand shape it into pita, and throw them on a iron skillet over a wood fire, then cover it with butter and honey. Miss Wooten was so kind to both us and the large group of children studying the “city”/village.
I have been to Israel several times and once you pass through the gift shop and ticket area you are walking into another time and an ancient world. It was so authentic that if I posted pictures and told people I was in Israel, they would believe me!
There is a reason museum/interactive life size village has won lots of awards! It is well worth the drive and nominal fee they charge to enter.
There is a 1st class gift shop with snacks and drinks and inside displays too. ALL the staff were very friendly.
Wear good walking shoes. It was only a half mile of walking and there are plenty of places to sit. Sherry very thoughtfully had a cooler with free water abd cups out to keep guests hydrated.
