The Children’s Museum of Acadiana formally invites you (and everyone you know) to our first Water Play Day of Summer ‘26!🩱💦

Join us Wednesday, June 17th from 2 PM - 4 PM for sprinklers, sensory water tables, bubbles, and heaps of fun!🫧

🧖‍♀️Just bring your own towel and a change of clothes - we’ve covered the rest!

Big news at CMA! 🎉

We’re excited to share that the Children’s Museum of Acadiana has been awarded funding from The Stuller Family Foundation to support the implementation of a brand-new museum management system for our guests and families.

While this upgrade happens mostly behind the scenes, the impact will be felt throughout the entire museum experience. From smoother ticketing and camp registration to improved memberships, birthday bookings, and communication, this transition will help us better serve the thousands of families who visit CMA each year.

As we celebrate our 30th year, we’re investing not only in exhibits and programs, but also in the tools and infrastructure that help our museum grow sustainably for the future.

A huge thank you to the Stuller Family Foundation for supporting this exciting next chapter for CMA and the families of Acadiana!

Children’s Museum of Acadiana (CMA) is seeking a dependable, leadership-minded Lead Weekend Play Facilitator to help weekend operations during our summer season.

As a keyholder, you’ll serve as the weekend leader on duty by supporting guest experiences, overseeing daily operations and opening / closing the museum during assigned shifts.

Qualifications:
-Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience required
-Experience in childcare, education, camps, museums, hospitality, retail or guest services preferred
-Comfortable working independently and making decisions in real time
-Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
-Passion for working with children and their families

Schedule Requirements:
-Must be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
-Must be available throughout May, June and July
-Holiday, weekend and special event availability required
-Typical shift ranges from 9:00 am – 5:45 pm
