Our list of vendors and exhibitors for the Heirloom Garden Show is shaping up nicely. We have vendors bringing their goods as far away as Iowa, and Indiana, along with vendors who are only a few minutes' drive from the museum.
You will be able to find a wide variety of products for sale at our show including, hot sauces, heirloom garlic and vegetables, honey, jams and jellies, native plant seeds, heirloom grains, and more!

On Sunday August 30, from 11 am - 4 pm, the 34th Heirloom Garden Show will be held at Garfield Farm & Tavern Museum. The show features the gardens and prairie of the museum and growers of historic varieties of produce.

As the show celebrates heirloom varieties and genetic diversity, the small local farm movement plays an essential role in preserving agricultural knowledge, supporting local food systems, and caring for the land. Invitations have been extended to local producers to broaden our visitors' awareness of such local resources.

Last minute exhibitors are welcome and should contact the museum. There is no fee for exhibitors as the event is an educational show.

Members of the Early American Industries Association and the Mid-West Tools Collectors Association will be holding their annual Antique Tool Show and Sale at the Garfield Farm Museum on Sunday, August 2nd from 9am – 1pm. This is the only joint show by these two organizations in the mid-west open to the public. Typically, over 30 different collectors will have their tools on display and for sale.
Tours of the 1846 teamster inn and tavern begin at 10 am and continue after the show until 4 pm. Light refreshments will be available. Admission for adults is $8 and $3 for children 12 years and under.

We are excited to host Early American Industries Association and The Mid-West Tool Collectors Association (MWTCA) for our 33rd annual Antique Tool Show on Sunday August 2nd from 9am-1pm.

Please join us for a tool show and sale at the Garfield Farm Museum in Campton Hills, IL!

Cost: $8 for adults, $3 for kids under 13

This event is in collaboration with our friends at the Mid-West Tool Collectors Association (MWTCA) and is our only collaborative tool sale event in the mid-west that is open to the public.

Around 30 vendors will have their collections on display and/or for sale.

Light refreshments will be available and tours of the site's 1846 inn and tavern will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Tuesday-Thursday, July 14th-16th 9 am to Noon.

Young people ages eight to fifteen years old will have a chance to discover what life was like in the 1840’s at Garfield Farm during a three-day camp. The cost for the camp is $90 per child. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the museum at (630) 584-8485 or [email protected].

This year's hatchlings are growing up fast!
Garfield Farm has been rescuing the Black Java chicken breed from extinction since 1999, having hatched over 100 chicks this season thus far.
Drop in for tours from 1-4 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays for a look at this rare breed.
