It’s summertime, it’s the best time to go outside and draw. JOIN US! This Thursday at Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum for an evening of drawing from observation.

Open to all skill levels and people who like plants and also sometimes birds.

Remember last spring when Ranger Clare from 7 Islands State Birding Park brought a tiny hawk to drawing club?

This week we will be focused on plants with special guests Dylan Pollard and Mason Thornton ⭐️

I slipped my hands into the ocean and when I lifted them from the sea there was an offering. Filling the palm of my hand was the translucent body of someone who used to be a jellyfish.

What a dream it’s been to be an artist-in-residence at Byrdcliffe ⭐️

For the whole month of August we will be writing our newest shadow puppet theatre production, amongst so many other talented artists and bats.
