Did you know that each of the buildings at the Wunderlich Farm Museum show a different era or time stamp? For example, when you step into the Theiss House you are stepping into 1933 during the Great Depression. If you visit the Kreinhop/Hildebrandt House you are getting to explore during 1943 during World War II. When you visit the Maria Katherine Hofius Wunderlich House you are stepping all the way back to 1890.

These are just 3 of the possible 7 time eras you get to visit when you stop by. Be sure to listen for a change in music, clothes, technology, and many other things.

What's stopping you from visiting?

We LOVE our Little Farmers! Today we started with coloring a picture of a squirrel before we read “Squirrels Leap, Squirrels Sleep.”

Of course that meant we needed to make a squirrel feeders for our new friends. So we rolled giant pinecones into peanut butter and then rolled it in bird seed.

We also couldn’t celebrate Spring without a photo shoot with Crockett the bunny and some baby chicks.

Then our little farmers gathered a tally sheet and headed off onto the farm to count squirrels and other livestock. Some explored houses and others tossed marshmallows out to the pigs.

A great adventure always happens at Wunderlich Farm Museum.

Get out while you can! No rain and vendors are here to help you plan dinner, gifts, and anything else you may want. Best tamales, soaps, Indian food, bracelets, custom hats, and coffee. Timid is out here with hot chocolate as well. Come on out and help support local small businesses.

You gotta try the sourdough loaf with the fresh jam as well. Worries about the flu? Pick up some elderberry while here and fight the yuck going around.
