GOD STILL SHOWS UP

On July 3rd, 2026, we gathered at the new & developing Hill Country Flood Memorial located within The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden.

We gathered to remember and honor those affected by the tragic July 4th, 2025 Hill Country flood.

We gathered to mourn.
To remember.
To grieve what we lost.
And to seek the Lord in the midst of heartbreak.

And God reminded us:

He is still here.
He is with us ALL the time.
He still meets us in our brokenness.
He still shows up in the forms of miracles, signs and wonders!!

In Scripture, the Shekinah Glory represents the manifest presence of God. It is his glory dwelling among his people.

But God is not only the God who showed up THEN.

He is the God who shows up NOW.

And NOW our community has experienced another devastating flood on July 16, 2026.

The Hill Country Flood Memorial at The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden Cross is more than a place to remember one tragedy.

It can be a place to mourn.
A place to grieve.
A place to remember.
A place to pray.
A place to lay down our sorrow.
And a place to receive the healing touch of Jesus.
And a place to encounter his presence.

Two floods have brought tremendous loss and heartache to the Hill Country, but neither flood can wash away the healing presence of Jesus!

God’s supernatural presence is not confined to the pages of the Bible.

He still shows up.

And sometimes, in the middle of our greatest pain, he gives us a glimpse of his glory to remind us that we are not alone.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3

✝️Friday July 31, 2026 marked SIXTEEN YEARS since the "THE EMPTY CROSS”©️ was “SEALED”!!✝️

16 years ago the welding was completed on Max’s 77'7" Cor-ten steel sculpture which had been erected on July 27, 2010, three days earlier!

The national secular TV, print & internet media covered the er****on of the nearly 70-ton cross sculpture.

We believe on that historic day, the spirit realm changed forever. A new powerful pathway, a supernatural door, a window, a holy portal, was opened in the atmosphere. The Holy Spirit did this so millions of unchurched people could find Jesus, the Messiah of the Jews, without going through organized religion, or the traditional methods of evangelism. I named this unusual witnessing method: "Strategic Eye-Gate Evangelism" (SEE). The Holy Spirit uses the eye to draw the heart to Jesus!

Max was given this profound vision from the Holy Spirit to comfort those who experienced loss from the July 4, 2025 flood.
