The Children’s Discovery Museum (CDM), located in Kelso, Washington, is a nonprofit, free organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families in Cowlitz County through hands-on, interactive learning experiences. Our museum features 25 carefully curated exhibits designed to engage young minds in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) principles. These
exhibits encourage learning through play, empowering children to take ownership of their education, develop critical thinking skills, and ignite creativity in a supportive environment. Beyond exhibits, CDM is a cornerstone of the community, providing families with a safe, inclusive space to connect, learn, and grow together. We proudly offer these opportunities at no cost to visitors, ensuring that all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, have access to enriching educational experiences. Your support allows us to continue fulfilling our mission. Together, we can spark curiosity, inspire learning, and create opportunities for the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
