It's here! After three years of planning for it, we now have a really awesome stair lift! Thanks to the combined efforts and generosity of the Charlton Family Charitable Foundation, Dr. Kay Green, and the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley, we are one step closer to completing the second floor project at the Stone Barn 🛗

This morning we were happy to greet someone who only learned of her connection to this area during a random visit to Perry Farm. After digging into her ancestry, she learned her family name, Lagesse, has a pretty profound link to our community so she returned to visit our museum.

We love when visitors leave with a little more knowledge of their family lineage! History is so cool 😎
