September is Library Card Sign-up Month!!!
It’s also a great chance to Get-to-Know-Your-Library! During the month of September, we invite you to stop by & learn more about the items/resources that are in the library by exploring each room on the main floor.
You’ll grab a “Library Card” from the kiosk beside the circulation desk & visit each room looking for a character from the “Arthur” book series by Marc Brown. Once you’ve located a character, write their name down on your card next to the name of the room you’re in. When you’ve finished finding each character, turn your card in at the circulation desk for a small prize. As you’re in each room, be sure to take a look around and read about what makes each room special.
This fun little scavenger hunt is open to everyone – all ages, whether you’re signing up for your first library card or have been with us for decades! We hope that you’ll come visit & bring a friend or two! Because as Arthur says… “Having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card!”
