Do you remember your first visit to a museum? What object caught your attention? What story stayed with you?
At our Junior Curator Camp this summer, we realized the kids were learning about Jackson Hole's history and a whole lot more! They were learning to ask thoughtful questions, think critically, and understand why the people, places, and stories of Jackson Hole are worth preserving. They were beginning to see themselves as stewards of this community's history.
Years from now, when someone asks one of these Junior Curator campers about their first museum visit, this could be the week they remember.
Experiences like these happen because of your support. When you give to History Jackson Hole, you help children discover the place they call home.
You make learning personal, local, and lasting.
Please help us continue supporting people of all ages to connect and discover the stories that make Jackson Hole home by donating to History Jackson Hole through Old Bill's Fun Run at bit.ly/oldbillsfunrun.
Thank you for making those first museum memories, and the connections that follow, possible. Your generosity keeps our community's history alive and puts it in the hands of the next generation!
