Do you remember your first visit to a museum? What object caught your attention? What story stayed with you?

At our Junior Curator Camp this summer, we realized the kids were learning about Jackson Hole's history and a whole lot more! They were learning to ask thoughtful questions, think critically, and understand why the people, places, and stories of Jackson Hole are worth preserving. They were beginning to see themselves as stewards of this community's history.

Years from now, when someone asks one of these Junior Curator campers about their first museum visit, this could be the week they remember.

Experiences like these happen because of your support. When you give to History Jackson Hole, you help children discover the place they call home.

You make learning personal, local, and lasting.

Please help us continue supporting people of all ages to connect and discover the stories that make Jackson Hole home by donating to History Jackson Hole through Old Bill's Fun Run at bit.ly/oldbillsfunrun.

Thank you for making those first museum memories, and the connections that follow, possible. Your generosity keeps our community's history alive and puts it in the hands of the next generation!

Old Bill’s Giving Season is here!

From nationally recognized historians to the neighbors who know Jackson Hole best, History Jackson Hole brings people together to explore the stories that shaped this valley and the American West.

This summer, our free programs have brought historians Alan Taylor and Elizabeth Fenn to Jackson Hole through the Western Scholars Series, while Beers & Banter has put local voices on stage to dig into everything from Jackson Hole mountaineering connections across the globe to local business history and 100 years of Triangle X Ranch.

These conversations are possible because of community support.

Donate to History Jackson Hole through Old Bill’s Fun Run by September 18 and help keep history programs free, engaging, and open to all. Link in bio.
