Naomi Sam, Stations (2026)

In Stations (2026), Naomi Sam explores how online platforms collect behavioral, and personal data to build predictive profiles of users. Throughout the game, players collect, exchange, and leave behind identity artifacts at a network of stations. Rather than attempting to disappear from surveillance systems, Stations proposes a different strategy: overwhelming them with unreliable information. By transforming identity into something shared, and digitally surveilled, Stations challenges the logic of data profiling and predictive technology.

Overheating (2026) is part of Devin Wilson’s ongoing series Fault Tolerance, which examines data centers as the cathedrals of the digital age. Combining sculpture and simulation, the work draws parallels between historical sites of worship and the infrastructures that now store and circulate information. The sculpture recreates a grotesque melting figure from Notre-Dame Cathedral. Overheating reflects on the hidden systems that shape contemporary life, revealing how technological infrastructures have become sites of belief and dependence.

Nat Decker, ‘Spiral (image)’; ‘wound⌷wound’; ‘Spiral (noise)’; ‘Spiral (emotional)’, 2026

Nat Decker’s sculptures make visible the physical and emotional infrastructures that underlie digital experience. Presented as a series of sculptures combining cast aluminum, welded steel, vinyl graphics, and embedded USB drives, each work contains a thumb drive loaded with images, poetry, sound, and personal archives, transforming the sculptures into repositories of memory and accumulated traces. Across the works, spirals become a shared language for feedback, repetition, and the recursive patterns of both mental states and digital processes.

Ina Chen, And Yet It Moves (2026)

“In And Yet It Moves (2026), Ina Chen adapts Galileo Galilei’s Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems (1632) into a three-channel video installation staged as a Discord server conversation. Through exchanges between Galileo’s original characters: Salviati, Sagredo, and Simplicio, the work translates a foundational scientific debate into the language of contemporary networked communication. Galileo’s dialogue emerged at a pivotal moment when heliocentrism challenged the prevailing belief that Earth, and by extension humanity, occupied the center of the universe, inaugurating a new worldview grounded in systems, observation, and scientific inquiry. Chen draws a parallel to the present, asking whether artificial intelligence marks a comparable pivot point in humanity.”

Lou Fauroux, ‘K-Detox, (The Internet Collapse)’, 2025

“Following a series of geopolitical catastrophes humanity prepares for the infrastructural collapse of the internet. K-Detox (The Internet Collapse) (2024) imagines a luxury wellness retreat hosted by Kim Kardashian and Mark Zuckerberg offering preparation for digital detox in a post-networked future. Through a video installation accompanied by sculptural bas-relief wall sculptures, the work stages a speculative scenario in which digital elites gather to prepare for going offline while the systems that sustain contemporary life begin to fail.”

“Across The Boys Convening, (2024), Brotherhood (The Burning Crusade), (2024), and Sarcophagus for My Dead Computer, (2024), Filip Kostic explores the social and material dimensions of personal computing. Drawing on fourteenth-century French relief carvings and funerary monuments, the artist reimagines scenes from the early internet era through a visual language associated with devotion and remembrance.”

Sick of relying on iCloud to store your precious photos, videos, and text messages? Concerned about privacy, digital security, and surveillance? Afraid Apple might delete your personal archive? Or maybe you’ve already lost things to the digital ether? Join T.A.P.E. Los Angeles for a workshop about getting off of iCloud, by building a system of backups and alternatives.
Combating digital alienation and building autonomy for us all!

Taught by audio visual archivists Jackie Forsyte and Sydney Kysar, the workshop will cover the
following skills and tools:

- Identify the most common digital preservation risks
- Outline the problems with Apple’s proprietary file formats
- Identify ideal hardware and storage devices for preservation

The Workshop’s hands-on portion will be a step-by-step walkthrough of how to download data
off of icloud.

- Introduction to command line tools
- Script to download text messages as dynamic html
- How to download and convert voice messages & voicemails
- Tools and skills to download photos and videos from icloud
- Convert Apple proprietary files to open source or non-proprietary files‍

♻️ Bring Your e-Waste, Build Your Secure Storage by Whisper + Nat Decker (Secret Server Club) ♻️

What does it mean to store data collectively, on hardware you own, in a space you share? This
workshop invites participants to bring their old PCs, external hard drives, and discarded devices and put them back to work as nodes in an experimental distributed storage network built together in the room. We’ll cover the basics of NAS building and distributed server architecture, using e-waste as raw material for a shared digital commons.

No prior knowledge required. Bring old mini-PCs, laptops, gaming PCs, Raspberry P*s, or extra
hard drives — or just come as you are. All forms of participation are welcome.

Whisper is an artist based in Los Angeles, working across poetry, performance, software, and
hardware. She dreams of computing that feels like augmented presence, cultivated through generations of loving care. Lately, her work has been almost entirely collaborative, with her partner Hal as Resonant.love, and with her friends in Secret Server Club.

Nat Decker is a Los Angeles-based artist working across digital media, sculpture, and performance. Disability is the lens through which they explore embodiment, virtuality, alienation, access, and liberatory networks. Their practice critically engages technology as both assistive and oppressive. Presently they are experimenting with autonomous internet infrastructure, a/v feedback loops, and 3D computer graphics. Nat is a 2026 United States Artists Fellow and
recipient of numerous fellowships and residencies including Eyebeam, Processing Foundation, NEW INC, Leonardo CripTech, and ACRE, where they are current staff. They have exhibited work and delivered talks internationally.

Photosynthetic extends the world of IN-TECHS by exploring alternatives to fossil fuels, using these specimens as potential repositories for renewable energy. Excavated from the earth, a fossilized ginkgo leaf undergoes paleontological analysis, positioned as both artifact and prototype.

Through an augmented reality reconstruction of the species, the structure resembles a monopine, an anthropogenic beast of camouflage engineered to conceal technological infrastructure within natural surroundings. The work suggests a speculative ecology where biological processes are hybridized with solar technologies to generate new forms of power.
