🌊⚓ Give your teen a summer they'll never forget!

Trade screens for sea spray and ordinary days for real adventure. In our SUMMER MARITIME EXPLORER Program, teens ages 12–16 learn to row, navigate, handle boats, build confidence, and work as a crew—all while exploring Hull's incredible waterfront.

This isn't just another summer camp—it's an opportunity to gain new skills, make friends, and discover what they're capable of on and off the water.

JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL BOAT LAUNCH!

The Hull Lifesaving Museum is proud to celebrate the launch of the John D. Reilly, III, a handcrafted boat built by Hull Lifesaving Museum and Hull High School students through our collaborative woodworking and boatbuilding program.

Named in honor of the late John D. Reilly, III, a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, the vessel represents service, dedication, craftsmanship, and community.

This launch marks the culmination of months of hard work by local students who learned traditional woodworking and boatbuilding skills while helping preserve Hull's rich maritime heritage.

The collaboration between The Hull Lifesaving Museum and Hull High School continues with the completion of a sixth boat in four years. This is a Stretched Gloucester Gull rowing dory. Trivia: What is Leo building? Hints:
- We are not always working on boats
- The plans call for 3/4” poplar; but we have a bunch of 1/2” MDO plywood cut offs from the. Boathouse construction; so, Leo is going to glue pieces of the MDO back to back to get 1” thick which. The pieces should have comparable mechanical properties.

Leo will be back next Saturday to work on his project. I will take another photo next week and see if anyone can guess the project.
