Corinne and I are participating in the Teaching With Small Boats Alliance(TWSBA) conference at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle. This is very exciting and there are more programs available than we can possibly handle…so we will do our best.

Grab the leash, bring your four-legged best friend, and join us for a morning of canine camaraderie at the Tails of Courage Dog Walk! 🐕❤️

Follow our illustrated route from the Hull Lifesaving Museum to Village Playground, past the historic U.S. Coast Guard Station Point Allerton, and on to our Windmill Point Boathouse finish! Water breaks along the way will keep our furry walkers refreshed.

The walk celebrates our Pawsitively Heroic exhibit honoring the dogs who have served alongside lifesavers and Coast Guard crews through the years.

🐾 DOG PEOPLE—WE NEED YOU! 🐾

Our Tails of Courage Dog Walk is THIS SUNDAY, October 11 at 10 AM, and we want to see a whole lot more wagging tails on the starting line!

The walk will BEGIN at the HULL LIFESAVING MUSEUM, continue to the VILLAGE PLAYGROUND for a water station, and then head to the COAST GUARD STATION for another water break. Walkers will finish at the WINDMILL POINT BOATHOUSE where they can enjoy local vendors, activities, refreshments & a special pup cup.

Grab your favorite four-legged friend, call a dog-loving friend, and join us for a fun morning at the Hull Lifesaving Museum. It’s a great way to get outside, meet other dog people, and support the Museum’s mission of Saving Lives Then. Changing Lives Now.

A huge thank-you to our friends at Road To Responsibility, Inc.. for joining us this morning to help clean up the beach! The crew also enjoyed a fishing demonstration with local fisherman Keith. We’re grateful for your enthusiasm, hard work, and community spirit. You’re the best!

Did you know dogs have played a role in our lifesaving maritime history? Our Pawsitively Heroic exhibit celebrates the four-legged partners of the U.S. Life-Saving Service and U.S. Coast Guard—faithful companions who became part of the lifesaving story.

Now it's time to celebrate the dogs in our own lives!
