Dena Kline Art Southwest-born artist creating bold, colorful mixed media inspired by Western heritage and the American landscape.

I am a Southwestern artist inspired by the spirit and character of the American West. Born in New Mexico and raised in Oklahoma, I draw from my roots and years in commercial design to create vibrant, expressive portraits of Native American figures, cowboys, and wildlife. Working from my lake house in Southwest Oklahoma, I utilize pastel, acrylic, photography, and digital media to capture the land’s energy and emotion. Influenced by artists like Fritz Scholder and Logan Maxwell Hagege, my work celebrates the beauty and vitality of the West. To learn more about me and my work, please visit my website at

October is historically the season of change. What changed for you this year? As we reflect on some art together this morning, I'd like to know.

Epiphanies, moves, whatever it may be.

And if you're looking to change up your space, you could consider today's feature, "Moody Blue" or the other work in my online gallery.

It's getting darker earlier; it might be time for some of you to haul out the blankets. The world is moving a little slower than it did in summer before it speeds up for the holiday season.

Is your home and office cozy enough for the season ahead?

Check out "Pastel Perspective" and the other artwork in my online gallery to find something that fits the way you approach the season.
