Our museum is dedicated to the brave men and women throughout our country’s history who have defended our great nation, at home and abroad, that we may live in freedom. The goal of the Regional Military Museum is to commemorate their sacrifices made in behalf of all Americans - past, present, and future. We are ever inspired by the dedication of our local citizens who have so generously contribute

d to our endeavor, and to our museum staff and volunteers who have so tirelessly worked to amass, authenticate, and display our many military objects and artifacts. We strive to make your visit through our museum an enjoyable and memorable experience. Our vehicles really run, our weapons really fire, our library acts as a place of research for both family military history as well as educational instruction. Our veteran volunteers offer first-hand accounts of what it was really like to lay one’s life on the line to protect our loved ones and our way of life. We are constantly updating and expanding our collections and hope that you will return often to browse through our museum, our library, and our website.

The land of the free because of the brave. 🇺🇸 Today was all about honoring our veterans, giving special recognition to those who were wounded in service, as well as remembering those who were wounded and never made it home.

It was especially meaningful to hear our guest speaker, Larry Williams, give honor to the family members of our veterans as well. His words were heartfelt. Today was truly a special day

What a meaningful and memorable day we had at the museum on August 8, 2026. It was a wonderful occasion filled with reflection, fellowship, and good food, as we came together to honor all veterans and especially recognize our Purple Heart recipients.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this day so special and significant.

8/8/2026 - It takes a whole lot of people working together to make an event run as smoothly as this one did! A huge thank-you to the Baptist Campus Ministry men’s group for serving the food and to our own wonderful volunteers and Kim Suggs, events coordinator, for all their help. We truly couldn’t have done it without everyone working together!
