Vintage Snack Set Exhibit Opens WEdnesday, June 3rd to Sunday June 28th. From the 1940's to the 1970's, women hosted afternoon teas, Birthday parties, Church Socials and so much more. On these occasions, they would wear their Sunday best and bring out pretty snacks sets that included a plate with a round indentation to hold a matching cup. This Exhibit includes pieces by manufacturers such as Anchor Hocking, Hazel Atlas, The Indiana Glass Company, Royal Windsor, Queen Anne, and Royal Albert. The exhibit is included with regular admission.
The Drummond Home is located at 305 North Price, Hominy, Oklahoma. It is open Wednesdays to SAturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, please call: 918-352-5583.

The Hammered Aluminum Ware will start April 1st and last the entire month. This one you won't want to miss. Way back in the early 1900's, women who couldn't afford silver went to hammered aluminum as it was much cheaper and didn't need polishing. It was often given as wedding gifts.

The Fred & Addie Drummond Home in Hominy will have an exhibit showcasing Hammered Aluminum ware from Wednesday, April 1, to Thursday, April 30. Visitors can view beautiful examples of hammered Aluminum metalware. such as salad dishes, cookie trays and pitchers with matching tumbers.
From the Early 1900's to the 1950's, many homemakers used cheaper and lighter Hammered Aluminum for card games, birthday celebrations, church events and monthly coffee socials. With many metals in short supply because of World War 1 and 11, Hammered Aluminum became a popular alternative. Different kitchenware and decorative items made aluminum were often given as wedding gifts. Whether hand-wrought, or machine produced, hammered aluminum could be shaped into numerous designs and did not require polishing.

There are many Armand Marseilles, Simon Halbigs, Koppelsdorfs, and many Little Women dolls in this collection. Also paper dolls, and so much more!!! Just a reminder that everyone is invited to attend the Drummond Home Open house on Saturday, December 13th between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. This year we will be having Jim Garling, Susanne Woolley, and Richard Sharp all three will be playing beautiful Christmas music in the parlor. You don't want to miss that!! Also we will be having Diane Fallis, from Bartlesville, who is an Osage Storyteller, telling stories about the Drummond Family. What a fun afternoon for you and your family!!!

There will be admission charge taken at the door of $10.00 for Adults, $8.00 for Seniors ( 62 + ) and $5.00 for children 6 to 17 years old. All active military and Veterans get in free with an ID. All admissions and donations go to benefit the Drummond Home. We are located at 305 North Price, Hominy, Oklahoma 74035. For any questions, you many call: 918-352-5583. Just a reminder that the Drummond Home Christmas Open House will be Saturday, December 13th and we are inviting everyone to come and participate! This year we will be having Jim Garling, Sussanne Woolley, and Richard Sharp playing beautiful Christmas music in the parlor!! What a day that will be!!!! Also Diane Fallis who is an Osage Storyteller will be on hand to tell stories of the Drummond family and the surrounding areas!!! The house will be decorated in full and traditional Christmas Decor and there is a tree in almost every room!!!

The Drummond Home is now all decorated inside and out for the Christmas holidays!!! We are all ready for the Drummond Home Christmas Open House which will be December 13th, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. This year we will be having Jim Garling playing beautiful music in the parlor along with his band, Susanne Woolley and Richard Sharp. You don't want to miss this!! Diane Fallis of Bartlesville will also be there to tell stories about the Drummond Family members and the surrounding areas!!! What a day that will be!!!
