The High Springs Museum received donations to pass on to the public. There are many items to choose from. We will have some of the items at the Museum tomorrow.
Some of the items are:
Star Wars figures, small and large
Star Trek figures, small and large
Kiss Band figures
Hot wheels and matchbox cars
Large scale 1/16 cars and trucks
Hess tanker trucks
Lionel/Corgi vehicles
Halmark Collector ornaments
These items are all new in original packaging.
All item prices are considered donations.
We are a all volunteer non-profit organization.
We are at work to preserve our local history.

This was the High Springs City Hall. This building was in the same place the current City Hall is now.
I wonder how many people worker there. Anyone know?

Jim Douglas Sales and Service is having their 100 year celebration tomorrow, October 3rd from 12-3 PM.
Come and join us and be a part of our local history.
This doesn't happen very often.

This is what is going on this weekend. The weather is going to be wonderful on Saturday.
You can attend the Fall Festival, including the Circus train layout at the Farmers Market Pavilion and also go the our Museum, all within walking distance. Don't forget the stores and restaurants on Main Street.

Hi Everyone,
The High Springs Historical Society has ownership of the High Springs Herald Newspapers from 1952 until it closed in October 2011.
These articles are from 2004 when the Thomas Drug Store was due to be torn down. The building was located next to HWY 27 and the Rail Yard. Mr Thomas was a Pharmacists. Served the community for many years.
The articles are hard to get a good photo because of the binding they are in. We are looking to scan these papers so they can be archived on a public website. If someone can help get this accomplished please contact us.
