The High Springs Museum will be closed this Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th, 2024 due to illness of volunteers. Please contact the museum's email address for further questions about the High Springs Historical Society Museum. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, we plan to be open the weekend of March 2nd and March 3rd, 2024, 1 PM to 4 PM each of those days.

The High Springs Museum will be closed December 16th & December 17th, 2023. The Museum will re-open on January 6th, 2024 at 1 PM till 4 PM and also January 7th, 2024 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Wishing each and everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy Joyous New Year.

Come and see us in the old school building and the Trains will be running in the Santa Fe room as well as the Museum .

This is Benjamin our young friend who is one of our volunteers along with his family, helping us at the High Springs museum.
He is holding a airplane hanger model that he assembled for our diorama.
Come and join us on Thursday evening at 7PM at our Museum to hear two train historians, Jonny Nelson and John Manley talk about the history of the Florida and local railroads in our area.

How Great Is this for some history of High Springs.
The 1941 high school football team. Their colors were purple and gold, the SANDSPURS and they played in bare feet in the earlier years. They had a reunion in 2000. The bottom left, Loman Beville became a manager of the Atlantic Coastline Railroad.

High Springs had three race tracks at one time,many years ago.
The mural about racing is really cool.
