Couldn’t help myself after staring at the bubbles on the deck with the kids 🫧
I’m not going to start a whole new series, but I’ll probably paint a couple more at some point because I feel like I didn’t quite figure it out (in the way I want to) yet 🤔

In Chatham 🤍🖤 when I painted this piece, I imagined a more modern style black & white - but with organic shapes and unexpected brush marks to soften the feel. 😍

In the winter, I’m so focused on really large, complex paintings. In the summer, I’m so busy with the Galleries but still need to get my visions out somehow✨
I’ve been working on a series of smaller paintings - they each feel like a flow of color, light, something beautiful that came to me..
When I’m interested in a subject, whether water, glass, marsh landscape…I have to fully explore it - paint it, change it, repeat…move on to something new. These smaller paintings are part of my process🎨
