Our resident senior dance troupe wowed the Operation Pumpkin crowd at high noon Saturday, October 10, on the Hometown Stage. Interested in being part of next year's show? The tappers are always looking for new dancers. Men and women. No experience required. In fact, there is a bi-weekly class for beginners 11:10 to 11:45 a.m. every Tuesday and Friday at the Fitton Center (cost is $2 per class). Questions? Contact choreographer Janet Provanzano at [email protected].

RACY SUBJECT MATTER
If you wondered about the crowds and noise in the Kid Zone during Operation Pumpkin, it probably was all the exciting action at our Pumpkin Derby race track, where decorated pumpkins logged almost 25 miles of racing, 40 feet at a time. Huge thanks to our friends and partners at the Dan Beard Council, Scouting America for their expertise in running the races.
