Join us! On Saturday, October 17th at 1pm, the Museum will host a one-woman performance of "Mary Harris "Mother" Jones: The Most Dangerous Woman in America?!?" presented by Kim Hanley of the American Historical Theatre. Mary Harris Jones, known as Mother Jones from 1897 onward, became a prominent union organizer, community organizer and activist. To her admirers she was the Miners’ Angel and to her detractors, she was, as President Theodore Roosevelt called her, the “most dangerous woman in America.” For further information about this performance, please call the Museum at (973) 595-7953.

The American Labor Museum / Botto House National Landmark will be open as part of Passaic County History Week's Open House Weekend Saturday and Sunday, September 19th and 20th, from 1-4 PM.

In his Pullman Studio, Chicago, Illinois, contemporary artist JB Daniel infuses the contributions of working people throughout our nation's history into his projects. After today's tour of the Museum, Mr. Daniel added his "Help each other" installation for future visitors. Stop by to see it flanking the union-made Little Library at our corner, Norwood St. & Mason Ave.

In addition to the Annual Labor Day Parade at 10:30am on Sunday, September 6th, the Museum proudly opens the exhibit "Bargaining, Buttons & Banners from the Michael Mulkeen Collection, Part II." The exhibit features labor union memorabilia acquired by Mr. Mulkeen. A New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Uniserv Representative, Brother Mulkeen was one of the most prolific donors to the Museum's collection. On view through December 31st. Also visit, Wed. - Sat. 1-4pm.

The museum's Annual Labor Day Parade steps off at from the Botto House at 11AM, Sunday 9/6. We will be open Labor Day 9/7 from 1-4PM.
