Hi friends. Well… this is it. Grand opening is tomorrow. ❤️
It feels like this entire summer—and all of the preparation leading up to this—has gone so quickly. I’m officially in that phase where you know you’ve prepared as much as you possibly can, but you still have that feeling like you left the house and forgot something. 😂 I keep thinking, What did I forget?
But somehow, we’re here.
The building is full of beautiful, amazing, creative people. We have classes and activities already scheduled into October, both from people who have spaces in the building and others who are coming in to use the space. We have birthday parties, staff gatherings, conferences, workshops and classes being booked.
The building is full. It’s vibrant. It’s alive. And honestly, it still doesn’t quite feel real.
I really hope you’ll come celebrate with us.
For some of you, I know it’s a little bit of a drive—but it feels like we started this journey together back in 2020, and it has just continued to grow, change and turn into things we never could have imagined.
And now, somehow, that journey has brought us to this beautiful historic building in Grand Rapids, in such a wonderfully creative part of the city.
I also just want to say thank you. Thank you for following along with me and Tia with The Art of life Gallery and Studio and Katie from out of the barn through all of these different adventures over the years. There have definitely been ups and downs, ideas that worked, ideas that changed, and plenty of figuring-it-out-as-we-go moments. Having all of you there, watching and supporting us through the journey, has meant more than you probably realize.
So come celebrate this next chapter with us. ❤️
Tomorrow — Friday night from 5–9 PM
359 Division S Grand Rapids mi 49505
There is parking behind the building as well as street parking nearby.
We’ll have snacks, amazing local artists, our storefront will be open, and we’ll even have a DJ—who happens to be one of the creatives sharing space in our building.
Come wander around, meet the artists, explore the building, shop local, and celebrate with us.
We did it. Endcap is opening.
