Lincoln Lacemakers will have their first meeting of 2026 on Tuesday, January 6. We meet at Valhalla Bee and Lace Supply, gathering around 6:00pm to shop and visit with the meeting beginning 7:00ish. Annual dues of $15 are due by February 15. Anyone at the December meeting is reminded to bring their little green felt tree decorated with lace. All are welcome!

A few of the Lincoln Lacemakers were spotted last Monday doing an informal demonstration at the Nebraska State Fair. We were joined by members of the Prairie Belle Smockers and the Lincoln Needlework Guild along with some local Grand Island stitchers. It was a great time.

Lincoln Lacemakers enjoyed International Tatting Day as we gathered to make lace in public & indulge in chocolate. Later, at the regular monthly meeting we had a lace exchange of hearts made with patterns distributed at a previous meeting. Good times were had by all.

Lincoln Lacemakers will celebrate International Tatting Day* with a meet-up on April 1 at 3:30pm at McAllister’s Deli, 500 N 48th St, Lincoln. Our regular monthly meeting will follow at 6:00pm at Valhalla Bee & Lace Supplies.

*International Tatting Day is observed every April 1. Lacemakers are encouraged to tat in public and enjoy some chocolate.

Lincoln Lacemakers will have a day long lace making retreat at Valhalla Bee and Lace Supplies, Saturday, March 29 from 9ish to 9ish. Bring snacks to share, your own beverage, and whatever lace project you are working on. Beginners are welcome!
