We have lots of great artwork still remaining, but if you want your top pick, come in today or tomorrow.
We’re expecting big crowds for our Closing Reception celebration. The artists will be there, come out, share stories, connect with other local art supporters. You all are invited, link in comments.
Sunday will sadly be our last day of business. Thank you again for all of your love and support through this.

Thank you Paige Hulsey and thank you for being part of the gallery. We’ve really loved your books and you’ve brought joy to so many kids through them.

I’m bummed to see the Grafton Art Gallery closing.

Jessi and Michael were doing such a nice job after taking over for Gene and Donna. I was grateful they shared shelf space with my books.

But they tell me that they were leasing their location and building’s owner has sold the property. October 18 is the final day they will be open.

In the meantime, please stop by to enjoy, shop, and share best wishes if you have a chance! They are hosting a closing reception as one last celebration on Saturday, October 17 at 5pm.

Our hearts are full. We want to thank you for your overwhelming response.
So many of you have been coming out and supporting our artists and taking their beautiful work home to enjoy or as gifts for others and we can’t thank you enough.

In response to this we plan to be open every day through our closing date of Sunday, Oct 18. Keep coming out and keep sending friends and family as well. Share our posts, it really does help us reach more people. Come out and pick up those early Christmas gifts.

And be sure to join us to celebrate one last time on Saturday, October 17th for our closing reception with our artists and the community. The response has really helped us all through this otherwise difficult time.

Open hours:
Sunday (11th) Monday (12th) Tuesday (13th) – 11-5
Wednesday (14th)– 12-4
Thursday (15th) and Friday (16th) – 11-5
Saturday (17th) – 11-9pm with closing reception

We’ve definitely enjoyed our time with this beautiful piece of artwork by Kristopher and Lukas Shewmake, who are both artists and musicians. When we took over the gallery my personal goal was to sell it, which was so close so many times! It’s not too late to get this statement piece. It would add personality to a bar, staircase, over a bed or fireplace, let those wings fly!

We have sad news, after being open since 2024, Grafton Art Gallery will be shutting down on Sunday, October 18.
We were leasing the building and the building is for sale and is now under contract. The change in ownership is October 23 and the plan for the building does not include us.

How can you help?
You can come out and support local artists and the gallery in our remaining days open. Come help reduce the inventory from our artists so they have less pieces to pick up and help us defray unplanned moving/storage costs. Also, please, share this post to get the word out.
If you have that special piece you saw on your last visit, now is your time to come and buy it. We will not be offering discounts out of respect to the artists.

We don’t know what the future holds for us at this time, but please continue to support these wonderful artists that we have grown to know and call our friends.

Thank you for your support in the time we’ve been open and thank you Gene and Donna for starting the Grafton Art Gallery. We have truly enjoyed building a community of artists and supporters of the arts and we will miss it and we will hopefully continue to build more in the future.

We will have a closing reception as one last celebration on Saturday, October 17 .

Be sure to stop in Mooneyham Art and see Dawn Isbell Photography and Sarah Lorentz show while it’s up, it’s a great show . There’s a lot of talented artists in the gallery to peruse while there.

Congrats to Dawn Isbell and Sarah Lorentz on their opening. These two artists will keep 100 % of their sales for this show for the entire month!

This was for winning their respective contests outlined in the description of A River Runs Though it !

You can view the show Thurs-Sun 12-7pm

See ya soon!
