Start Spreadin’ The News!!!

Glendale Arizona Historical Society in partnership with Sunnyslope Historical Society invite you to spend...

An Afternoon with Pat McMahon

Please join us as we welcome a broadcast legend to Glendale. Generations of Arizona children and adults remember watching Pat on The Wallace & Ladmo Show as Gerald, the program’s annoying 12-year-old antagonist but Pat also delighted audiences playing dozens of other characters such as Aunt Maud, Marshall Good, and the no hit wonder Hub Capp, who received national attention appearing on Steve Allen’s show in 1964. (Google it!!)
Perhaps you attended a live Wallace & Ladmo show or received a coveted Ladmo Bag. We know you won’t want to miss this very special event.

Pat will share decades of memories with old and new fans on Saturday November 14, 2026 at 11:00am in The Fruit Packing Shed at Historic Sahuaro Ranch, 9802 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale AZ 85302.

We ask that members of GAHS and Sunnyslope respond by November 1, 2026 to reserve a spot. Seats are limited and you MUST RSVP to Glendale Arizona Historical Society at [email protected] or 623.435.0072. If there are seats available after November 1, 2026, non-members may contact GAHS to reserve a spot.

Light refreshments will be served. The event is free, but donations are always welcome.

Dedication, creativity, and a love of local history are the bedrock of GAHS volunteers. We also are looking for individuals interested in assisting with Rose Garden and Palm Court weddings, which are held on the grounds of Historic Sahuaro Ranch in Sahuaro Ranch Park.
