We couldn’t be more excited in Chicago for the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center today — which will be home to incredible art by 28 artists, nearly all displayed in spaces that are free to the public.

There are so many inspiring, not-to-be-missed works, including these: the stunning mixed-media portrait of Michelle and Barack by Njideka Akunyili Crosby, on view in the Hope and Change lobby; “City of Big Shoulders” by Mark Bradford; “To See What They Could See” and “American Vista” by Theaster Gates; Maya Lin’s “Seeing Through the Universe” and Idris Khan’s “Sky of Hope.”

We can’t wait to see you there this summer!
