The Gibsonburg Homecoming is in full swing, although a little damp. The museum hours for the Homecoming will be from 5 pm until 8 pm this evening, 5 pm until 9 pm Friday and from 12 until 9 pm on Saturday. We have added a few extra items in honor of the 250th Anniversary Celebration with uniforms, equipment and weapons from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Spanish American War. If you're in the area stop out and visit us.

Spring is nearing and we are already beginning our mobile displays. This display is in honor of the 250th Anniversary of America's Independence. The display depicts many of the uniforms and equipment used by our servicemen from the Revolutionary War through the present. We will present this mobile display throughout the year at different venues.

Welcome to winter in Ohio. I hope everyone was able to cope with the snow and cold yesterday. Since most everyone is still digging out from our little blizzard I have decided to close the museum again this evening. Stay warm and safe and we'll see you at the museum soon.

Its the season of gift giving, and during WWII a lot of "Sweetheart" items were sent home as gifts.... any time of the year! We have some Sweetheart items in the museum on display that belonged to a local, including a scarf like this one! Stop by and see them soon!!
