Discover the shaping and reshaping of a 200-year old Finger Lakes community at the Geneva History Museum. Explore the ways in which the many and varied people who have lived in Geneva have enjoyed and used its beautiful surroundings and abundant natural resources. Owned and operated by Historic Geneva, the museum is housed in the Prouty-Chew House, an 1829 Federal style building on Geneva’s Histor

ic South Main Street. The museum houses the Society’s offices, library and research archive, collection, and both permanent and changing exhibits. Displays include two rooms furnished in late 19th-century style, a children’s discovery room, and the permanent exhibit Geneva’s Changing Landscapes, which focuses on the growth and history of Geneva. Two galleries provide various changing exhibitions over the course of the year. Admission is free for all. Historic Geneva owns and operates three properties in the Geneva area: Rose Hill Mansion, Johnston House and Mike Weaver Drain Tile Museum, and the Geneva History Museum. Historic Geneva sells a selection of local history books and architectural walking tours at the museum.

As the sun begins to set over Seneca Lake, join us on Saturday, August 22 for an evening of music and tastings at Rose Hill Mansion. Entertainment will be provided by Lakeside SOUND, featuring a wide variety of music ranging from country to rock, easy listening to R&B, and from the 60’s to today. Tastings will be furnished by Billsboro W**ery, Brewery Ardennes, Ravines W**e Cellars, Trestle Thirty-One, and Watershed Brewing. Pre-sale tickets are $30 per person ($40 per person on the day of the event). Purchase tickets online at https://historicgeneva.org/ or by calling 315-789-5151.

During the event, food will be available for purchase through J & J’s Dogs and More. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert on the lawn.
