Quinlan hosts up to 20 major solo and group exhibitions each year, advanced workshops with nationally and internationally acclaimed artists, classes in all media for adults and children, summer art camps, private art parties, a museum-quality gift shop featuring original art by local artists, and other special events for the community including a fine art auction every spring.

We join the art world in remembering Yayoi Kusama, whose bold vision, infinite patterns, and fearless creativity left an extraordinary mark on contemporary art. Kusama passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 97.

At the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, we are honored to have a portrait of Kusama by Armando Chacón currently on view—a fitting tribute to an artist whose work continues to inspire generations.

Create a holiday card design for the Quinlan Visual Arts Center’s K–12 Holiday Card Art Contest on Sunday, September 13, from 1:00–5:00 PM.
