We are screening a recently found silent comedy: ROLLING HOME (1926), starring Reginald Denny and Marian Nixon. There is a piano soundtrack created just for the film that will be playing with it.

We have a special guest author who is visiting from Florida, Laura Jerrolds. She will be talking about and signing her new book: Marian Nixon: The Nicest Girl In Hollywood.

We have tickets for sale for this show but because of the timing we have decided to have a little contest. If you want to come, please RSVP and your name will go on a list and you and a friend could get in for free.

Special show at the California Alpine Lodge, Mill Valley, CA.

Sunday November 1st—the West Point Inn Association proudly presents the 2022 restored version of BLIND HUSBANDS an alpine love-triangle by the Inn’s day-laborer and soon-to-be acclaimed film director Erich “von” Stroheim. His time spent at our mountaintop Inn inspired his 1919 silent film-- where spilt soup led to a short term marriage and finally the script for his wildly successful first movie.

With this film presentation the West Point Inn seeks to reunite the film with its Tamalpais inspiration, linking film, conservation, history and geography…but mostly have a good time!

BLIND HUSBANDS, a silent from 1919, is an alpine thriller masquerading as a morality play of good and evil with the Director himself playing the Satanic predator to a neglected wife. Climax is reached in a deadly rock-climb to the Pinnacle where all secrets are revealed and the moral order reestablished—or are they?.

Tickets are on sale now! Available at $30 each through the LINK above or the attached Zeffy QR code. They are considered a donation towards the preservation of the West Point Inn and the public access to Mount Tamalpais it supports. As such, cancellations will not be refunded.

Limited Seating. 60 seats per show. The event-space is unique—an intimate and rustic Club Hall, attached to a stunning, century-old hiker’s’ lodge and not a public cinema or theater.

Support your local Ghost House! The Candlelighters organization provides one of the most amazing opportunities to help fellow tri-cities non-profit organizations. They actually raise money for other nonprofits to benefit from! Who does that? They do!

Our museum is going to be one of the recipients this year so if you go and buy a corn dog or an amazing caramel apple 🍏(with at least a pound of caramel, I swear) or get a photo taken or play ring toss, it helps them raise money for us and others.

Take a tour of the haunted house (and if you’re nervous about things that go bump in the night, you can take the “Good Fairy” tour, which means the ghouls do just stand back and wave and don’t jump out at you) for extra spirited fun.

All the proceeds will help fulfill the grant for our organization to restore some vintage posters!
