If you entered artwork in our August show, thank you! It was an amazing exhibit, and we received so many wonderful comments from visitors. Your creativity and participation helped make the show a success!

A new exhibit is being installed, with a reception scheduled for Thursday, September 3. Unfortunately, we don’t have adequate space to safely store artwork from the August show.

If you haven’t already picked up your artwork, please plan to do so today, Tuesday, September 1. The Gallery will open at 10am and close at 4pm. Thank you!

🖤🤍 What a night! 🤍🖤

The FAAA Annual Gala, “Where Black Meets White,” was a rousing success! From cocktails and dinner to live music, games, and both silent and live auctions, the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of artistic flair.

Our guests truly embraced the black-and-white dress code, creating a stunning scene against the backdrop of our Black & White monthly art exhibit. The gallery has never looked—or felt—quite so glamorous!

A heartfelt thank you to our Honorary Co-Chairs, generous auction donors and bidders, dedicated volunteers, and everyone who joined us to make the evening such a memorable celebration of art and community.

🐾🎨 **Celebrating National Dog Day with Art!** 🎨🐾

In honor of National Dog Day, FAAA member/instructor Mary Ringenberg introduced students to the colorful and whimsical work of self-taught folk artist Laurel Burch. Known for her bold designs and love of animals—especially cats and dogs—Laurel’s artwork has brightened everything from clothing and jewelry to home décor. Inspired by Laurel’s playful style, students created their own colorful dog collages using an assortment of scrap papers. It was a paws-itively wonderful afternoon of art!

Meet Our Artists!!

Artist Lynette Fast can’t recall a time when she wasn’t creating. In elementary school, a teacher encouraged her to illustrate her homework. Lynette gathers her inspiration from many sources: nature, gardening and camping to name a few. She is a talented multi media creative, working with alcohol inks, watercolor, acrylic, jewelry and fiber. She prefers to not have a preconceived idea when creating and enjoys challenging herself to discover new things.
