Nestled among autumn’s rich colors, a quiet farmhouse glows against a backdrop of fiery foliage and deep evergreen shadows. In Up on the Hill, Carol Cowie captures the warmth and character of the rural landscape through expressive brushwork and a striking interplay of light and color.

Stop by the Athenaeum to see this engaging show. Gallery hours are noon to 4pm Thursday through Sunday.
