Watch the magic happen. Raku firing is pretty fast compared to other modes of firing, less than an hour. And we get to make fire in a trashcan with the pot !

Expert Raku potter is Janet Greer explaining a part of the process.

Another glimpse into the raku process. Potters are fully involved in the firing process from start to finish. It's rewarding and fun. The results are often a surprise - something we love about it.

If you look closely, you can see those little octopuses. Imagine this little one sneaking around, surprising your house members in places they least expect it.
