We don’t want to toot our own horn, but we think there’s something quite intriguing about “Here Lyeth: Grave Rubbings by Ann Parker and Avon Neal,” on view now at the Carter. These gravestone rubbings, created with wax crayon and rice paper, capture hard to find examples of the visual culture of death in Early America. Visit the Carter today to experience this exhibition for yourself.
