It's time to let the historical interpreters cool off after a very long, hot summer! We will be CLOSED for biannual maintenance August 23-September 7, 2026.

GOOD NEWS, however--when we reopen on September 8, we'll be back to our normal Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last admission at 3 p.m.) schedule.

We can't wait to enjoy a really great fall with y'all!

Happiness comes in many forms. Lately it's been in the form of quality utility work.

Many thanks to our City of Fort Worth Property Management Department and their contractor, Romance Plumbing, for working tirelessly in 100+ degree heat to run new gas line for our furnace, water heater, and, most importantly, our candle pot. Because those candles won't dip themselves. ❤🔥
