The only thing hotter than the weather was this year’s FreedomVibes concert series!🔥

From legendary voices to unforgettable singalongs, Freedom Vibes 2026 reminded us that music has always been one of the ways freedom sounds. For 10 incredible days, Fort Worth became a gathering place where generations came together to celebrate our history, honor our culture, and make new memories that will last long after the final encore.

We’re grateful to every artist, every fan, every volunteer, and every partner who made this celebration possible.

Until next year… thank you for bringing the VIBES✨

Leave your mark on history🔔

The National Juneteenth Museum is seeking one Texas artist to help tell Fort Worth’s Juneteenth story through the design of the city’s inaugural Freedom Bell.

Inspired by local history, community narratives, and the enduring significance of freedom, the selected design will be cast into a functional bell and become part of the Museum’s permanent collection.

Three finalists will each receive a $700 honorarium to develop a design proposal. From those proposals, one artist will be awarded a $3,000 commission and will participate in the guided creation of the inaugural Freedom Bell.

Applications close August 23, 2026. Learn more and apply here🔗 https://share.google/fIk0X5PFUtKBB8TgZ

The National Juneteenth Museum was invited by the Freedom Bell Project and its partners, Texas A&M University and Brad Oldham Structures to participate in this historic project.

Join us at Kinfolk House this Saturday, 8/8 for a special conversation with the artists featured in the National Juneteenth Museum’s All ‘n All: Artists Embracing Community exhibition.

Experience the exhibition through a guided tour, then hear directly from the artists during an engaging Q&A as they share the inspiration, stories, and creative processes behind their work.

This is a unique opportunity to connect with the artists, explore the power of community through art, and be part of an inspiring conversation.

We look forward to welcoming you!
