The tropical 1929 landscape features unique historic trees and flowering plants from around the globe planted throughout the expansive site, including the award-winning Moonlight Garden and world-famous Banyan Tree. The Edison Ford Museum and Edison Botanic Research Laboratory showcase hundreds of invention and innovation artifacts and photographs, antique automobiles, and many more interesting and informative exhibits.

Last chance to register for Breakfast with the Birds!🐦

October 17, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Join the Estates’ plant curator and an experienced Audubon birding guide on an easy walk through the grounds. Afterward, enjoy a complimentary beverage and bite to eat from the on-site Banyan Café while you chat with fellow birders and the guides. It is recommended that participants bring binoculars and drinking water, and wear closed-toe shoes. Registration will close on October 14, so head online today to secure your spot!

Just 2 Weeks Left! 🧵

Join us October 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Edison and Ford Winter Estates for our annual “Airing of the Quilts” quilt show, featuring a beautiful display of quilts from the Southwest Florida Quilters Guild—plus quilts for sale and on-site appraisals by renowned quilt appraiser Lars Cain. Verbal appraisals will be offered for $25 and the fee for a written appraisal will be $35 per quilt.

The quilt show is included with admission or free to Edison and Ford members. Tickets can be purchased online at EdisonFord.org or in person at our ticket counter.

Then tomorrow and Sunday, join us for the O.C.T Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy FREE workshops on orchids, cacti, and tillandsias, shop plants from vendors, and check out the orchid show! Indulge in a variety of onsite food trucks while you browse the beautiful blooms!
